Gooseneck Floor Light
GA Scott for Maclamp, Late-1950s
A floor lamp designed in the late-1950s by GA Scott for Maclamp, UK.
The lower half of the light’s stem and conical base are black lacquered aluminium.
Raising from the black stem is a short pole section of brass which leads into a brass gooseneck arm and brass bulb holder.
Behind where the new, bespoke, lampshade sits is a black switch which along with the black cable and plug maintain the minimal and elegant colour scheme of the piece.
All sections in brass boast an excellent even patina. The black lacquered parts of the lamp are in remarkably good condition and as aforementioned the linen and cotton blend lampshade is brand-new.
Diameter (Base): 28 cm
