Brutalist Pine Floor Light

Descriptions:

The main body of the design is sculptured pine wood. A white acrylic diffuser sits atop the arm of the light and a newly made fabric shade cloches the diffuser. Although the form of the lamp is curvaceous and its edges soft, the scale of the light and the proportions of the shapes used within relate to Brutalist architecture. The amount of wood used in the chunky light visually warms the design as the wood is not only apparent but attractively grained and evenly patinated. Overall this is an unusual and unexpected example of Scandinavian Modern meets Brutalism and the light is guaranteed to inject flair into any interior. The fabric shades are newly made in a textured weighty cotton. As the images show, a pair of wall lights in this design are also available.
