Description:

A hand-blown glass vase with stitched, black leather collar designed by Carl Auböck II during the 1950s. 

The model #4748 vase was produced by the prestigious Austrian workshop during the 1950s, and was available with either a wicker or leather collar, as seen here.

The vessel is hand-blown, which gives the glass incredible depth as tiny flaws indicative of the craft punctuate the elegant shape.
