Description:
This is a lovely example of an antique library floor lamp. Able to extend vertically and horizontally, this would have originally been used over a large table.
The brass patination of the thick base stem is even, and changes slightly for delicate upper units which display historic use. The aged brass contrasts beautifully with the crisp white linen shade.
Wonderfully practical, the mechanical fittings of the light provide a substantial sense of weight and grandeur.
