A twin-headed floor lamp with teak base and brass armatures, made in Sweden during the late 1950s- 1960s. 

Quietly sculptural with a touch of space-age flair, so indicative of the mid-20th century. The lower stem of this floor lamp is turned teak, whilst the upper stem is split into two symmetrical brass arms joined by a tapered brass collar. 

The lamp is perfectly proportioned to be placed by a low reading chair, or even beneath a painting to illuminate it from underneath. 

The lamp is in excellent vintage condition and has been fully rewired to UK standard with a black, woven cord and two new conical shades made from parsnip parchment.
