Petite Articulated Wall Light
Brass & Green Velvet
Denmark, 1950s

£950
Description:

A petite articulated wall light in polished brass, designed and made in Denmark circa 1950. The arm of the light can be manipulated in two ways; from the wall bracket the light moves around a 180-degree angle, the arm also extends and retracts thanks to a joint halfway along the arm of the lamp.
Despite the lamp being super practical, the limited materials used throughout and their nature result in the utilitarian design also being aesthetically pleasing.
The adjustability of this piece makes it an extremely useful light that would work perfectly beside a bed or reading chair.
Complete with a newly made shade in a green velvet and rewired for the UK using antique-brown coloured braided flex.
As you can see in the images, a wall light of similar proportions and materials is also available. With the same shade these lamps work excellently as a non-matching pair.
