by Finn Juhl
An early example of the "Poet" sofa designed by Finn Juhl in 1946 and produced by cabinetmakers Bovirke in the 1950s.
The essentialness of the lines in this piece result in a shape that appears at once ancient -as if derived from nature- and contemporary. The compactness of the settee means it can be used in many spaces and although petite the coil sprung seat and curved backrest make it very comfortable. The four tapered legs on which the settee stands are carved solid oak.
