This Oregon pine and original chequered fabric three-piece modular sofa is by Mogens Koch. Designed to work with the cabinets designed at the same time for Rud Rasmussen, it can be set up as a day bed or as individual sofa sections.
The textile is made by Danish female weaver and textile designer Mathilde Elisabeth "Lis" Ahlmann, 1894-1979. One of her most notable designs were the hand-woven fabrics for Kaare Klint's famous Circle Bed.
This Specific pattern was made by Lis Ahlmann in 1978.
