Oak & Cane Piano Stool
Denmark, 1950s

£2,700

Description:

An oak piano or dressing table stool with caned seat, likely to have been made in Denmark between the late 1940s to the early 1950s.

Slim, elegant, and functional; this mid-century oak stool is not just limited to piano players. The proportions of the stool would be perfectly suited alongside a dressing table, vanity unit or even as occasional seating in the lounge.

The cane-work of this piece has been recently restored and is incredibly fine. The cane-work imbues the piece with a lightness which is only augmented by the gentle curve of the wooden seat.
