Pair of Concertina Brass Wall Lights
Denmark, 1950s
Description
We have two pairs of petite concertina wall light in brass, designed and made in 1950s Denmark. The light can be manipulated in three ways: from the wall bracket the light moves around a 180-degree angle; the arm also extends and retracts thanks to the scissor joints; and the head of the lamp can move up and down.
Their simplistic form creates ornamentation from their practicality. This also makes them extremely durable and adaptable.
The adjustability of these lights makes them extremely useful, and would work perfectly beside a bed or reading chair. Furthermore, the petite size of the light means it could also be used to zone an area in a thoroughfare.
Completed with a newly made bespoke shade in a textured, off-white, linen-cotton-blend material. Rewired in an antique-brown braided flex.
Price is for a pair.
Current lead times of c.5 weeks.
