Winged Chair
by Ole Wanscher

£2,800

Description

A refined winged side chair designed by the Danish architect and professor Ole Wanscher circa 1950.
The chair is constructed of solid mahogany and upholstered in an unusual dark blue leather.
Chunky yet elegant the chair would work excellently in a hallway or open space were it could be enjoyed from different angles. The sculptural form of the chair is also robust and functional, the 'wings' can help the sitter lower or lift themselves in or out of the seat.
