Floor Light "X" #3715 Werkstätte Carl Auböck

Description:

Designed by Carl Auböck II, the versatile "X" lamp epitomises the influence of Modernist design principals infused into the workshop's practice during the 1950s, following Auböck's time spent at the Bauhaus. 

The design comprises a rattan stem and "X" shaped brass base which can be gently lent on one side, to angle the lamp into reading position. The design is grounded by the black patination on the base of the "X", which creates a pleasing contrast against the highly polished upper surface which is echoed across the brass ring at the centre of the stem, and again in the brass frame of the lampshade.  

If not in stock at time of ordering, production lead time will be 4 to 10 weeks.
