Operating since the early 20th century, the Auböck workshop have always been masters of brass. Over the years, the workshop has crossed paths with Surrealism and Modernism, and traces both movements have infused the designs of the workshop and are evident even in the most functional designs.
Reflective of the time spent by the 2nd Carl Auböck at the Bauhuas, under the tutelege of Johannes Itten, this table lamp explores the spareness of form and the expressive potential of a singular line.
