A slim, mid-century wall light with bamboo armature.
This wall light dates to the 1950s, and would have been perfectly placed in a scheme of complementary rattan furniture, a popular material for domestic furniture which found renewed popularity in the Victorian era, and again during the mid 20th-century when such materials might have evoked memories of warmer climates.
This wall light has been fully rewired with a UK standard plug, antique effect woven cord, and a lightly textured white cotton lampshade.
