Description

A cake or pie slice server designed and made by Carl Auböck II, circa 1950. The main body of the server is made of horn from Hungry. A steel handle is securely riveted onto the horn slice. The colours and grain in the horn are spectacular, as is the golden patina on the cane. A small amount of tarnishing on the steel does not detract from the overall piece. Stamped with the Aubock signature as well as Made in Austria.
