FD 138 Sofa Finn Juhl

Description

A Model FD 138 sofa designed by Finn Juhl in 1958, produced by France & Son in 1960.

The three seat sofa (and matching armchairs also available) is currently -‘naked’- awaiting its finishing layer of upholstery. The decision as to what material goes onto the settee is therefore the customers. We welcome those wanting to supply their own textiles/leather or we are happy to discuss the many possible options.

The elegant and restraint frame is constructed of solid teak wood. Appearing to float within the sofas open space is a beautifully contoured seat. The base of the back rest and seat are both formed of laminated wood which is made sculptural and comfortable by multi-directional bending.

Although slender and light looking, the sofa generously accommodates three and offers great lumber support and comfort -meaning you can have a comfortable sofa -that it is even possible to lie down on- in a space restricted room.
