Vintage horn letter opener model #4727 designed and made by Carl Auböck, Vienna, 1950s.
A leather strap tight into a knot passes through a circular hole at one end of the letter opener.
A rare design from the Viennese werkstätte made unique by the grain and colour of the horn, this piece is in excellent condition.
