Large Leather Pouffe Unique Handcrafted

Description

A substantially sized minimalist pouffe made of leather, metal and wood.
The large sized cushioned footstool or occasional seat is a unique handcrafted item rather than something that has been produced by a workshop.
The tan coloured leather cushion is a vintage item from the 1960s or 70s whilst the frame is contemporarily made.
Beneath the cushion is a circular base made of birch plywood overlaid with Phenolic resin. This sits atop a four-legged steel frame that has the appearance of a gunmetal finish.
Being incredibly weighty, the pouffe cannot be tipped over and so is ideal as an occasional seat in a dressing/fitting room.
Once, the cushion had a larger button but is now fitted with a more petitely sized button in a contrasting olive-green leather. The patina of the vintage leather is spectacular and would add warmth and character to any room.
