A vintage rölakan flatweave (same pattern on both sides) rug with a stylized geometric pattern designed by Mai Wellner, circa 1960.
The harmonious hues of blue, orange, yellow, purple, grey, pink, and brown found in the rug are typical of mid-twentieth century Swedish textile designs.
Signed with the designer's initials MW in corner. In very good condition.
