L-shaped coat brush designed and made by Carl Auböck III, Vienna, circa 1960.
The model 5000 alphabetical clothes brushes were designed in 1961 and a came in a variety of finishes. Some brushes were clad in horn or leather.
This letter L brush is sculptured from just solid walnut and features horse hair bristles.
In excellent condition and with a stunning grain and patination.
