Petite Mahogany Desk Rud Rasmussen

Description

A vintage little desk by Rud Rasmussen, Denmark, 1930s.
Made in solid mahogany and veneered in the same timber, the desk has two small drawers with brass keyholes. The drawers are made in oak, while the front is in mahogany; sides and front of the drawers are connected by hand cut dovetail joints.
A strut runs between the back legs and two more between the latter and the front ones.
Harmoniously proportioned - the height being half of the width - it is in very good original condition.
