Petite Pine Desk Martin Nyrop

Description

A petite desk in pine designed by architect Martin Nyrop, Denmark, 1905.
This piece was part of the interiors created for the Copenhagen City Hall, designed by Nyrop in the National Romantic Style.
The desk is decorated by some grooves running along the apron and on the legs, perpendicularly to them. The latter have a square section, which turn into circular in their final part.
The top is covered in the original forest green coloured linoleum which complementary to the rich colour of the wood.
In overall very good condition.
