Three Seat Settee Ole Wanscher
Description
A three seat settee designed by Ole Wanscher for the cabinet maker A.J. Iversen circa 1944.
The sofa frame is constructed using solid wood and features solid mahogany legs. The back leg with its subtle curve that mimics the curve of the back of the sofa is typical of Wanscher.
Newly upholstered in a high wool content fabric that is a contemporary take on a traditional Danish stripe design. Satisfyingly the stripes run onto the buttons that find themselves in their path.
