Description

A vintage cutting board designed and made by Carl Auböck II.
The elliptical shaped board is made from solid walnut. The ends of each side are geometrically chamfered to make it easier to grab and lift the board.
At one end of the platter a leather strap is fitted to allow for hanging.
The leather strap is original to the piece and now quite brittle but we have sourced a new piece of leather from the Auböck workshop. This can easily be attached so that the board can remain as a functional design.
