Walnut Double Eggcup with a Horn Spoon Carl Auböck

Description

A simple and refined double recessed walnut eggcup with an accompanying ox horn spoon. Elegantly crafted, the cup has perfectly formed half spheres and chamfered ends. Egg spoons are traditionally made from horn as the taste of steel or sIlver can obscure the taste. Created in the Carl Auböck workshop in the 1950s in Vienna.
