Vintage sculptural vase in walnut by the AuböckWerkstätte, Vienna circa 1950s.
The carefully studied proportions - the 7 cm depth equal to less then one quarter of the vase rim width - together with the straight grain running diagonally on the profiles, make the piece extremely slender and elegant. The absence of any brass handles or inserts, contribute to make the piece more minimal than usual in the Auböck production. Excellent conditions.
