A brown glazed stoneware lamp designed by Nils Kähler and made by Kähler Keramik during the 1950s.
Almost metallic in appearance, the rich-brown glaze of this tapered lamp base is indicative of the richness and tactility associated with ceramics by the Danish manufacturer, Kähler.
A second, larger lamp in the same glaze is also available here.
The lamp has been fully rewired with a UK standard plug and brown, antique-style electrical cord. The lamp also includes a vellum-effect lampshade.
