Post-Modern Green Holmegaard Table Lamp, Michael Bang, Denmark, 1976
The Epoke III table lamp was designed and made by Michael Bang for Holmegaard in 1976. The opaline glass dramatically changes on the both the milky white dome and an emerald green body. Once the light is switched on, a warm glow reminiscent of the Space Age era shines through. Two rubber rings are placed around the body of the lamp: one at the base and the other between the dome and main body.
The petite size allows for ease of placement, whether it be placed on a desk, bookcase, bedside and even as a wall light; given that there is a slot on the underside for the lamp to be wall mounted.
The light has been sympathetically re-wired using black coloured fabric flex, the light switch is located on said flex.
