Initialed Bottle Opener
by Carl Auböck

£480

Description

Cast brass bottle opener featuring the letter U made by Carl Auböck II, Vienna circa 1955.
The piece is formed of two geometric shapes, a circle -inside which the black patinated letter U sits- and a rectangle which houses the bottle opener's 'tooth'.
Being a satisfyingly heavy-weight, perfectly functional and of a tactile shape the opener is a pleasure to use.
Impressed with the Auböck stamp.
In overall very good conditions.
