Medium Hand Keyring
Werkstätte Carl Auböck
£130
Description:
Too nice to consider losing and a little bigger than its sibling, the #5734 Hand Keyring.
Originally conceived in the 1950s by Carl Auböck II, these solid, sand-cast, brass key rings are truly portable sculptures. The designs are still produced today, as new casts, by the 4th generation of the prestigious Austrian workshop, Carl Auböck IV.
Operating since the early 20th century, the Auböck workshop have always been masters of brass. Over the years, the workshop has crossed paths with Surrealism and Modernism, and traces both movements have infused the designs of the workshop and are evident even in pieces as small as these.
