Black & Gold Gooseneck Floor Lamp

A sleek floor lamp most probably designed and made in the UK in the 1950s.
The light’s stem and base are black lacquered steel. Both these elements are of substantial proportions and give the light an industrial feel. Extending beyond the top of the black stem, which is bent towards the top, is a gooseneck arm and ball & socket joint. These components mean the shade of the lamp can be greatly manipulated making the piece a brilliant task light.
To maintain the minimal and elegant colour scheme, the bespoke shade has been made in an off-white linen and cotton blend material.
Currently, we have a light of a very similar design which makes an excellent non-matching pair with this piece.
