A delicate and beautifully proportioned ladder back chair with original caned seat. Made in Denmark during the early-mid 20th century.
Reminiscent of Arne Jacobsen's early ladder back pieces, this small, elegant chair has a slender frame articulated by small, rounded button cap style details atop the seat and back.
The chair is in good vintage condition and retains its original caned seat. As such, we would recommend this chair for very light- occasional use, acknowledging the delicacy of the original caning. Whilst less suited for sitting, it's airy frame is perfect for casting aside a jacket in a bedroom.
