A hand-thrown and incised studio pottery bowl with a strong geometric relief design in brown and green glaze.
The interior carving, etched into the clay before glazing, forms a repeating snowflake-like motif surrounded by angular geometric patterns. Variations in the glaze, pool naturally within the carved surface, creating rich tonal shifts and emphasising the depth and texture of the piece.
Both sculptural and functional, the bowl reflects the individuality of handmade studio ceramics, with subtle irregularities and surface variation that make each angle unique.
