White Ceramic
Table lamp
Italy, 1970s

£350

Description:

A speckled white-glaze ceramic table lamp, manufactured in Italy, during the 1970s.

The lamp features a white glaze accented with subtle brown speckling and a textured band that indents the spherical form of the base, adding an intriguing tactile element. This design is possibly a collaboration between Swedish designer Bergboms and Italian manufacturer Bitossi.

The lamp has been rewired to UK standards with a brown, antique-style cord and fitted with a white linen empire lampshade. There is some historic damage to the cord.
