A tufted, woven textile designed by Danish textile artist, Inger Holst Sørensen. 

Twine, wool, and jute fibres combine to create the deeply tactile centre of this framed textile. Similar in profile to "Porten Til", "The Gate",  by Sørensen, this work similarly evokes the shape of an entrance or portal, signified by alternating textural fields. 

This textile is one of three very similar designs by Sørensen. There is a grey and green version of this piece.
