Unique Oversized Bank Lights
Britain, Early-20th Century

Description:

A large pair of unique bronze coloured metal and milk glass table lights designed & made in Britain. The lamps were created bespoke for an East Sussex bank, hence the oversized proportions of the design.

The working life of the lights also helps explain how light is emitted from the lamps. Four holes sit within the top and bottom metal plates which sends directional light up- and down-wards. A more atmospheric light emits through the frosted glass diffuser.

The simple and sleek geometricity of the lights make them typical of Art Deco design but also usable in a wide range of different interiors.
If the lights were to re-enter a commercial space, the base allows them to be fixed to a surface.

Supplied completely re-wired and PAT tested. Please contact us for shipping options.
