Wall System Set Mogens Koch

Description

Wall system set designed by Mogens Koch for Rud Rasmussen, Denmark, 1960s. Original design dating to 1928.
The set is composed of 4 sideboards (76 x 76 x 36 cm), 6 square bookcases (76 x 76 x 27,5 cm) and 5 smaller rectangular bookcases (50,6 x 76 x 27,5 cm). There are 4 plints (76 x 5 x 36 cm) to go under the sideboards and one which can go under a bookcase (50,6 x 5 x 27,5 cm).

Every piece is hand-made in solid oak with dovetail joints and brass hinges and has the original label from master cabinetmaker Rud Rasmussen.

The entire set has been for long time in the private collection of Danish architect Erik Lassen.

In excellent condition.
