Blue Stoneware
Table Lamp #5
Kähler, Denmark

Description:

A stoneware table lamp made by Kähler Keramik during the 1950s.

The base of this stoneware lamp is covered by a vivid blue glaze, which skims the texture incised into the ceramic. This balance of glazed and unglazed areas is typical of Kähler table lamps from this period, and can also be seen on a similar table lamp here

The lamp has been fully rewired with a UK standard plug and brown, antique-style electrical cord. The lamp also includes a lightly textured lampshade.
